Glass for protection and safety
For your safety and protection, we offer:
Hardened glass – heat-processed glass, five times as durable as ordinary tempered glass. If broken, it splits into small pieces not threatening human health. This type of glass is used to make glass enclosures, partition walls and doors, windows, planar systems etc. Available as colourless and toned as well as with selective and antisun covering. Thickness: colourless glass 4 - 19 mm, decorative glass 4 - 6 mm.
Laminated glass (Optilam) – made from two or more glass sheets that are glued using a colourless or toned polymer film (PVB) or a special resin (CIP). This type of glass is used for overhead lighting, door entrance blocks, shopping windows, glazing of banks and offices. Also available with selective coating.
Reinforced glass (Pilkington Pyroshield; AGC Wired) – monolith glass with iron wire smelted in mass. Is used for overhead lighting, doors, other constructions for the safety and fire safety of humans.
PYROSHIELD SAFETY TEXTURE – reinforced glass with embossed surface. Is used for overhead lighting, doors, other constructions for the safety and fire safety of humans.
PYROSHIELD SAFETY CLEAR – reinforced glass with smoothly polished surface and good transparency.
SHOPBOND – glazing system with a special metal frame against attacks or break-ins, with glass that cannot be taken out or pressed out.
